Mrs. Rebecca Grant

I was born and raised in Onslow County; I attended Silverdale and Swansboro Elementary Schools, Swansboro Middle School, and graduated from Swansboro High School.  During those years, I was active in many clubs and sports, including soccer, basketball, and volleyball.

After high school, I attended The University of North Carolina - Wilmington and graduated with Honors with my degree in Elementary Education.  After graduation, I returned to my hometown of Swansboro and began teaching at Queens Creek Elementary School alongside many of the teachers and friends with whom I grew up.  From 2007 - 2022, I remained at QCE where I taught 4th Grade, 5th Grade, and in the STEM lab.

I am very thankful to now be at Summersill and am looking forward to working and learning alongside the staff and students here.  Go Eagles!
