Assistant Principal

It is my privilege to serve as the Assistant Principal of Summersill Elementary School. I am excited to serve in this capacity. To share a little about my educational background, I received my degree in business education from East Carolina University in 2006. After teaching high school Career Technical Education for three years, I decided to go back to college to pursue my Masters in School Administration. I graduated from East Carolina University in 2011 with a Graduate degree in School Administration. I have served as an assistant principal for twelve years, serving at Dixon High School and Swansboro Middle School. I am excited about learning elementary school and am looking forward to working together with this wonderful community to do amazing things for our students.

On a personal note, I enjoy spending time with my two wonderful children, Mallory and Cameron. I feel truly blessed to have the opportunity to work with the students, staff and community of Summersill.
